Our Story

Some of the best trips leave room for discovery.

Wanderveil grew from founder Tim Selliah’s belief that thoughtful planning should protect what matters while leaving room for the moments no itinerary can predict.

Where it started

A simple drive could become a weekend away.

Tim’s love of travel began with spontaneous childhood road trips with his mother. The destination was not always planned, but the feeling of discovering somewhere new stayed with him.

That became a lasting idea: plan the things that matter, know your boundaries, and leave enough room for the place itself to surprise you.

Places hold meaning

Clearwater became more than a destination.

A 2017 family trip to Clearwater became the last major journey Tim shared with his mother. Returning years later showed how a place can hold both discovery and memory.

The best planning creates the conditions for a good trip. The meaning often comes from what happens once you are there.

Seen along the way

Nearly 38 states. Countless unexpected moments.

From Wyoming water and Florida springs to Colorado red rock, Tim’s travels reinforced one belief: the memorable part is often the part you did not expect.

What Wanderveil believes

Mystery should never mean giving up control.

The destination may be a surprise, but the decisions that matter stay with you. We plan around your budget, safety and accessibility needs, then leave room for the place itself to surprise you.

Traveler control

Your important decisions always remain yours.

Curiosity

Leave room for a place to surprise you.

Local character

Choose experiences that belong to the destination.

Human judgment

Technology supports planners; people make the calls.

Honesty

No fake urgency, reviews or certainty.

Know what matters. Leave room for what you did not expect.

Tell us your boundaries and what would make the trip meaningful. We will handle the planning and protect the feeling of discovery.
